Art
Outdoor play is an integral part of our program, allowing children to connect with nature and engage in physical exploration. Our outdoor play area is designed to promote active play, sensory experiences, and social interaction. Children have the freedom to explore, climb, run, and play in a safe and supervised outdoor environment, fostering a love for nature and the outdoors.
Music
Abuelita's House Family Childcare fosters a love of music through a variety of engaging activities. Children participate in sing-alongs, rhythm games, and musical instrument play. These experiences enhance their auditory skills, promote language development, and encourage self-expression.
Movement
Movement is an integral part of our program. Children engage in daily physical activities, such as dancing, yoga, and outdoor play. These experiences improve their motor skills, coordination, and overall physical health.
Language
​Language development is a priority at Abuelita's House. Children are exposed to rich language experiences through story time, conversations, and vocabulary-building activities. Our bilingual program provides opportunities for children to learn and communicate in both English and Spanish.
Mathematics
We introduce early math concepts through play-based activities, such as sorting, counting, and pattern recognition. Children explore numbers, shapes, and spatial relationships in a fun and interactive way.
Outside Play
Outdoor play is essential for children's physical and cognitive development. Our spacious outdoor play area provides opportunities for children to run, climb, and socialize with their peers. Fresh air and sunshine promote healthy growth and development.
